Is Homosexuality Wrong In God’s Eyes?

This is one of the touchiest subjects that hangs in the balance of our society today. I may lose some followers for this and may gain some but at the end of the day, it’s the truth.

With homosexuality being at an all time high and gay rights being a force stronger than many on earth, many just decide to keep quiet because they feel its ok as long as their not participating in it. I use to feel like this until I started really getting into the Word of God.

Do you realize how homosexuality has skyrocketed over the last decade? How it has become the new “it” factor.

Have you ever seen a situation where a child, usually a baby, is completely terrified by someone new? Whether a friend or a new “separation after fornication” partner, that’s when the parent tells them to come around a bit more and the baby will get use to them.

Do you realize how the media is pushing homosexuality? From Nick Minaj “boynking” chicks to movies like “Broke Back Mountain” being a top box office movie.

Everything is used. Late night shows, reality shows, cable shows, regular tv shows, cartoons, music, books, news, internet; pretty much anything that calls for the eyes or the ears to be used is a medium for this process.

I watch tv and its like 3 out of 5 shows have either a gay couple or a gay scene. The more we see it, the more were use to it. Just like the baby.

So what’s this process called?

It’s called desensitization. We’re all being desensitized. Definition is to make indifferent, unaware, or the like, in feeling. Basically to make you get use to it.

Now the president has passed a law making it illegal to talk about or physically do harm to gays.

See I personally have nothing against gays. I most surely don’t hate them and don’t condone violence to anyone at all. It does disgust me though that a man would want another man or a woman would want another woman but that’s just my opinion. Nothing more.

What does God have to say?

You’d think with our country putting “In God We Trust” on everything involving everything, we’d want to try to please God as much as possible right?

We’ll get into that later. Right now, let’s get into exactly what God has to say. I was at bible study the other day and came across a verse that I had never seen before. It not only gives you a view of how God sees homosexuality; it also gives his views on incest and humans having sexual relations with animals.

In Leviticus 18:22 KJV, God lets us know

“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

The definition of abomination is:

From that verse alone, we see that God is absolutely disgusted with homosexuality. Doesn’t say he hates them though. Talk about that later.

Now I know that most people, for some strange reason feel that when Christ, our savior came, he abolished the old testament. I don’t know where they get that from but for just those people, lets go to the new testament.

In the book of Romans 1:26-32 KJV

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly (shameful), and receiving in themselves that recompense (penalty) of their error which was meet (due).
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them

In this one scripture in the new testament, we see that God is not pleased at all with many acts; one being homosexuality.

One thing I caught in that is where it says they receive in themselves the PENALTY of their error which is due. Is it just me or does AIDS seem like a penalty? Also as of recent, there has been talk of a new condition discovered that only affects gay men.

Some will say that AIDS affects everyone and not just gay people. True, but is it not true that a lot of these sicknesses are spread from men trying to stay on the DL (down-low)?

I’m not here to debate where AIDS comes from. I for one, know it was created in a lab.

Not only is God disgusted with it (he called it shameful); he says they DESERVE death and those that agree with it deserve death also but wait!

This is where most people get God confused and mistake his love for ruthless hate. He’s not attacking homosexuals. In God’s eyes, NO sin is greater than the other. He puts homosexuality in the same verses with murder, fornication, covetousness and many others as you see above.

At your job, you may feel that you DESERVE a raise but that doesn’t mean you’ll get one.

It’s not his will that anyone should suffer the fate of burning in the lake of fire for eternity (2 Peter 3:9).

So Why all the hate?

One thing I’ve noticed in many gays is the rebellion against God. This is sometimes followed by absolute hatred for God. I get the feeling they think God hates them but thats so not true.

You’re probably going to be shocked by my next statement but God loved Hitler (who was a homosexual). Christ died on the cross so you, me and even Hitler might have a chance at eternal life through repentance and the washing away of sins.

The beautiful thing about God is he lets us choose what we want to do. No where in the bible will you find God telling us to do this or burn in hell. That’s not his style.

He loves us too much for that and proved it by allowing his only begotten son to die for our sins (John 3:16)

So Where’s All The Confusion Coming From?

I’ve watched a few YouTube videos with people saying God hates gays and condemning them to hell. It’s sad that they would announce themselves as followers of Christ because God is all about love; Not hate. It shows that they are not reading the Word like they’re suppose to. Sounds like they’re just following the path that’s been laid out for them.

They hated Christ, but he still showed them love and compassion; and he had more reason to hate them than anyone.

People see these groups and automatically mix them in the pot with all followers of Christ; now they look at all (REAL) Christians as gay bashers when that is not the case.

All they do is make us look bad. That and the fact that there are so many supposed followers of Christ that are on different paths headed for the same God.

But God Has Changed His Mind Due To The Times Right?

I’ve heard quite a few people say God must have changed because there are so many people that are not just gay, but sinners, murderers and so on. All those people can’t possibly be sent to the lake of fire on judgement day right?

God clearly states in Malicia 3:6 KJV

For I am the Lord, I change not;

If that isn’t enough, it’s later stated in the new testament in James 1:17 KJV

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness (change), neither shadow of turning.

Plain and simple, God doesn’t change his mind. What he says is forever; including the 10 commandments which we’ll get into in another post.

The beautiful thing about God is he’s not forcing you to live for him. You are free as ever to live as you want and no true Christian will hate you for that. Us coming to you should be out of love; just like Christ died for us out of love.

God lets it be known in the verses I listed above the consequences of living outside of his will and the end judgement is stated in Revelation 21:7, 8 KJV

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

And this lake of fire is not just going to burn you a little and you’re dead; no it’s going to be pain and torment for eternity. It was made for the devil and those that follow him will suffer the same fate as he will in Revelation 20:7 KJV

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

In Conclusion

There are a select group of people that are totally against homosexuality and show it by pure hatred. I can assure you that they are not true followers of Christ.

In God’s eyes, no sin is greater than the other. He looks at murderers, fornicators, adulterers and so on, all the same. As long as they stay in their sin, they will burn (according to him; not me).

If I was to completely go against keeping the Sabbath, because I know the truth, I would be looked at worst than anyone. It’s like a dog returning to his vomit. Once you’ve been exposed to the truth, why go back to a lie? That’s the one sin that infuriates God; when you go against his commandments knowingly.

I know many non-believers feel that God is wrong and all this and that but I challenge you to seek his spirit. I promise you’ll never be the same. You’ll see life in a whole new light and if you seek the truth, you will find it; he promises this.

God lets us know in Hosea 4:6 KJV

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

We are all God’s people and he loves each and everyone of us the same but he is stern in his statement when he says he will forget those that have forgotten him and his laws.

I beg of you to build a relationship with God as soon as possible because we don’t have long. If you’re counting on making it into the kingdom simply off of grace, you are terribly mislead. No sinner will make it into the kingdom unless you follow what Peter states in Acts 2:38 KJV

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Christ is the ONLY way to be saved. There are no multiple ways into the Kingdom of Heaven. This is made clear in John 14:6 KJV

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Now is the time more than ever to build a relationship with Christ. He wants you to. As stated above, it’s not his will that any should perish but due to many running from knowledge, it is almost inevitable.

Unless you build a true relationship with Christ, you will not make it. I would have been in that same boat if I didn’t have my eyes opened due to the love and prayers of others and of course the seeking of truth.

It’s funny how in a nation where we have “In God We Trust” on everything, we tend to stray completely opposite of God’s teachings. Makes me wonder what god is this nation putting their trust in. Marinate on that. Remember; it’s printed on ALL money and what did God tell us about money?

For the love of money is the root of all evil
