Is May 21st, 2011 Really Judgement Day?

By now, I’m sure you’ve seen people in your city with signs, wrapped vehicles and clothing saying that Judgement day is May 21st, 2011 and that the end of the world will soon follow 5 months after in October.

Well instead of reading a book by its cover and calling these people crazy like everyone else, I decided to talk to one.

Why waste my time

As followers of Christ we should always seek knowledge and if someone is being led astray, we are to reach out to them with the Word of God.

Well in saying that, only one of 2 things would happen.

Either they have some knowledge that I don’t or…..

They are being led astray by a clever, very decietful, fallen angel by the name of Lucifer (light bearer, satan).

Are they crazy?

The whole time I was having this conversation, I was thinking, there has to be something wrong. I don’t dispute truth but like my site slogan says, study the truth and you’ll know when a lie comes.

They aren’t lying to you but they are being lied to. Big difference. They are false profits but not by choice. They simply have a vail over their eyes that won’t allow them to see the truth.

I like to see this as the “light bearer” shining light in their face to where they can’t see out of the darkness.

Well here’s the Word, the Light of the World, to shine on ALL, not some, darkness.

God warned us in Matthew 24:24 KJV

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

I was intrigued by what they are teaching but while listening, I couldn’t help but hear “lies” because I study the truth.

Now on May 21st, 2011 or “judgement day“, we, God’s elect, are “suppose” to be snatched up into the sky by Jesus (Son of Man) and taken into the clouds or heaven while the rest of the world suffers.

Now when she said that, I asked her where was the tribulation and she stated that we are living in the tribulation.

If this is the tribulation, this is nothing

Jesus says in Matthew 24:21 KJV

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

What were going thru now is nothing compared to what were facing. They’re saying the tribulation started in 1988.

See the reason I can’t vibe with this May 21st, 2011 Judgement day hoopla is because there is too much that has to happen before the tribulation starts. Were talking wars and rumors of wars, one world government, the revealing of the son of perdition (anti-christ), the sun and moon ceasing to give off light and then a great earthquake unlike any the world has ever seen before.

Many will argue that may this last earthquake in Japan was THAT earthquake but there was one that hit Chile in 1960 that was more powerful than this recent Japan earthquake.

I just don’t see all this happening in less than 2 months and it all goes against what the bible says will happen.

Here’s what the bible says is to happen

First off, Jesus told his apostles in

Matthew 24:36 KJV

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, NO, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only

Are we not man? That’s not code. That’s plain truth spoken by Jesus Christ. Before that, he said in

Matthew 24:4-8 KJV

Take heed (be cautious) that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these ARE THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS.

What’s that saying?

We are in the beginning of sorrows. I asked her what about the beginning of sorrows and I was told that I was focusing on the physical and not the spiritual and that I still have some growing to do spiritually.

I know I’m not the most knowledgable, but she never answered my question about when did the beginning of sorrow begin.

We haven’t even began the tribulation yet. To say we are IN the tribulation goes directly against what the bible says. The actual Son of perdition (anti-christ) has not even been revealed yet.

Anti-christ is actually any spirit that goes against the Holy Spirit but there is going to be one true anti-christ that is going to decieve many.

So are they crazy?

No. They are just being mis lead by a guy named Harold Camping who is a certified false prophet due to his inacurate prediction for the end of the world on September 6th of 1994.

He says that God made it known just recently the dates of the end times but only to those that study his word.

Now that sounds good but I don’t see any scripture supporting that. God Our only warning is in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-8 KJV

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

So what should I do?

If we did know the exact date, what would happen is a lot of people would sin right up until that day and then try to become saved. It’s the basis of humanity. Procrastination.

You should ALWAYS be ready for if you aren’t, Christ says his second coming will be as a thief sneaking up on you in the night.

So rather than wait right now, make changes in your life RIGHT NOW. Get on your knees, pray to God with your heart and tell him your sorry for all the sin you’ve done by your asking for forgiveness.

See God is a merciful God and forgives all who want to live right and do his will. It’s not hard once you realize the blessings you receive and I’m not talking about money. God’s blessings are not always money but they are all great because they make you sit back and amazement when they happen.

Trust me. I sat looking at my ceiling a many times wishing it wasn’t there so I could look straight to God and tell him thank you for what he blessed me with.

Praying to God is only the beginning. Pray to him for wisdom and understanding. Ask him to remove the blindfold from over your eyes so you can see the wickness of the world as Jesus would have seen it.

Trust me it’s out there. I barely watch some of the TV shows I use to and I don’t play some of the video games I use to, not only because I’m trying to live right. It’s not appealing to me like it use to be. I just can’t see Jesus playing Grand Theft Auto and rejoicing in murdering people psychologically.

It’s time for change and I’m not talking about what stories present and past presidents told us. I’m talking about a change to save your soul because you can’t play both sides of the fence for the Lord says in

James 2:10 KJV

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
