What’s The Truth About This Kony 2012 Movement? Truth Or Another Clever Lie By…..
Over the past week or so, there has been a lot of talk about Kony 2012 and the Invisible Children.
Well before I started shouting “Kill Kony” like a majority of the people that just go with the flow, I decided I would do some digging before standing on the rooftop (writing about it).
Truthfully, I’ve never heard anything about Kony or these invisible kids until recently when Justin Bieber said he watched the Kony & The Invisible Kids documentary.
Next thing you know, all these celebrities do as they usually do and become unofficial spokespersons for “un-researched” causes.
Now I’m not saying this Kony thing is false but after seeing the video below, I got to thinking “why if all this happened many years ago, are they just telling us about it?”
Now what worries me is why this video that shows the man that might be hated as much as Osama Bin Laden, only has a little over 40k views while the documentary has well in the 70 millions.
Shouldn’t people want to hear both sides; that is only fair right?
What’s Their Angle With Kony 2012?
As you know we are getting close to the end times spoken of in numerous scriptures; mainly in Matthew 24.
We can also look to 2 Thessalonians 2:3 for guidance in these times since they seem to describe what’s happening right before our eyes in the world.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Before the return of our saviour, many will fall away from the word. You did hear what he says they are (were) fighting for at the end of the video right?
The 10 Commandments is what I heard.
Today, anyone who fights to uphold the laws of God will be hated and our saviour warned us of this in John 15:18, 19
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
I know you’re wondering what does the 10 commandments have to do with Kony.
You saw in the interview that he said it was all a lie; and I for one don’t doubt his claims simply because I know when the media promotes something as much as they’ve promoted this Kony 2012, 9 times out of 10 (maybe 10 out of 10), it’s a bold faced lie.
They count on our stupidity to believe everything they say and not research.
We’ve been through this exact same routine many times over with the most recent being the “killing” of Osama Bin Laden.
Some more you may be delusional about are:
- September 9/11
- Us Invading Iraq
- The JFK Assassination
- The Tea Party
- Soveirgn Citizens (they aren’t really terrorists like the media wants you to believe)
- Using natural cures over medication
You may not be aware but most the huge issues going on in the media are well thought out lies that with a little research and an open mind, you’d be left with your mouth open with shock and disgust.
It’s also a fact that most issues, when boiled down, are ALL ABOUT MONEY.
What did our saviour tell us about the love of money? For the answer, we only need to look at 1 Timothy 6:9-12
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
That’s Not It… There’s more!
Now we know that most issues like this involve money.
After watching these videos, I decided to do a little digging on Urganda and what do you know; they have an “unknown” stash of oil that has brought their poor country a chance for much wealth; and now attention.
The only problem they’ve run into is funding the infrastructure to get started as a nation that produces oil. You can read more on this here: Uganda: Where Will Money for Oil Infrastructure Come From?
This news has created the potential to bring millions if not billions to the country. Wonder who’s going to “help” them? Are we going to “help” them like we “helped” Iraq?
Now what do we have? A war against ONE man named Kony in a country that has a huge stash of OIL; and he said that he’s trying to keep the 10 commandments alive.
I bet they can’t wait to get over there and start searching for this so-called “terrorist”.
Put It All Together…
To understand how this all adds up, Ephesians 6:10-17 sums it all up.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
We are told that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the rulers of the darkness of this world.
This is war with satan himself; the ruler of this world.
These governments are all after oil and money and we are told what comes from loving money. satan is strategically using their love of money to bring about an amount of evil this world has never seen before.
He doesn’t care about them or their oil; he is making war with any and everyone that is spreading the love and word of God.
satan is just a selfish sinner who is scared to burn alone and he and his angels know they have a short time left which is evident in Matthew 8:28, 29
28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
satan and his angels know their time is short and they don’t care how you DON’T get the word and make it into the Kingdom of Heaven; as long as you don’t make it.
The Truth And To Close….
I for one, don’t know all the truth about this Kony 2012 documentary but I do know just like every other huge event of our time, there are a lot of lies involved.
That’s why you should focus on studying the truth and you’ll know when a lie comes.
This Kony 2012 event is yet another clever scheme by satan to take our attention away from what’s important; our salvation.
We must focus on what’s important because we don’t have long.
While you’re here, you should watch this video from a young lady who lives in Urganda where all this “tragedy” is taking place.
Please don’t be gullible like the rest of the world. Do your research before choosing a cause.
My cause has already shown me what’s true.
That cause is the word of God and I’m riding for him until the wheels fall off; wheels being the flesh and I get to meet my heavenly father that has showed me nothing but love and compassion my entire life.
